How it all started

Founded in 2020 by a compassionate father-son duo and later joined by an experienced 'for purpose' sector leader, AMS was born to fill a critical gap in disability support services.

We recognised the need for a disability support agency offering services that embrace individuals with complex needs and challenging pasts, while valuing the vital role of frontline workers. This vision led us to pioneer a care model that is both empathetic and empowering.

What is your recruitment process?
  • Application: Submit your application via SEEK.
  • Phone Screening: If shortlisted, you’ll be contacted for an initial phone screening.
  • Interview: Successful candidates will be invited for an interview with our Practice Lead, either via Teams or in person.
  • Compliance and Reference Checks: After the interview, we’ll carry out all necessary compliance and reference checks.
  • Talent Pool: Once the process is complete, you’ll be added to our talent pool, where we’ll match you with future opportunities that align with your skills and interests.

A talent pool is a group of vetted candidates who have expressed interest in working with a company but haven’t been placed in a role yet. These candidates may have gone through interviews or screenings and are considered for future job openings. Maintaining a talent pool allows companies to quickly tap into a pool of qualified candidates when suitable roles become available, streamlining the recruitment process and ensuring there’s always a skilled candidate ready to fill upcoming positions.

We offer supported independent living, assistance with self-care and daily activities, community participation, social engagement, and capacity-building services.
